I've always wanted to know how the world worked in order to make it a better place.
I started asking questions and learned how to think critically by studying political science and sociology at SUNY Albany. I found my way to tech by way of customer support and Trust & Safety and have since dedicated my career to building tools and technology that protect people online. My areas of expertise include content moderation systems, child safety, abuse detection and enforcement, internal tools, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.
These days, I'm the Head of Product at ROOST.tools where I'm building open source tools for anyone to use to make the internet a safer place for all. In my private sector life, I was a Product Lead at Google where I works on scaled spam and abuse on the Workspace product. Before Google, I was the Director of Product for Trust & Safety at Grindr and Snapchat’s first Product Manager focused on Trust & Safety where I built out the technical infrastructure for online safety.
When I'm not at a computer, I love to cook and explore the outdoors, especially the mountains. I live in NYC as a proud cat parent.
